Reviews and how to check us out
The useful question is not whether a company says good things about itself. It is whether you can verify anything, and whether the company makes that easy.
Where to read the reviews
Haswani HVAC & Construction has a Google Business Profile with public reviews attached to it. That is the right place to read them, because it is the one place the company cannot edit.
No star rating or review count is printed on this page. Published counts go stale within weeks and a number typed into a website is not evidence of anything. Open the profile and read what is actually there.
What you will not find on this page
- Testimonials written in-house and attributed to first names
- Stock photographs of customers who were never customers
- A star rating graphic that links nowhere
- Star ratings in the page code that do not correspond to anything visible
- Awards or accreditations that cannot be verified independently
None of that is a moral position. It is that every one of those things is trivially fakeable, which means none of them help you decide anything.
Check the company yourself
Four things worth doing before letting any contractor into your house.
- Read the Google profile, including the negative reviews and the replies to them
- Verify the TDLR licence through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation licence search

- Call and listen. Whether the answer sounds like diagnosis or like a script tells you a great deal
Judging any contractor
What reviews can and cannot tell you
Reviews are useful for a narrow set of things and useless for others, and knowing which is which saves a lot of wasted reading.
Reviews are good evidence of how a company communicates, whether it turned up when it said it would, whether the price at the end matched the price at the start, and how it behaved when something went wrong. Those are behavioural questions, and customers are well placed to answer them.
Reviews are weak evidence of technical competence. A homeowner generally cannot tell whether a system was charged correctly by weight, whether the static pressure was measured, or whether the replacement coil was properly matched. A five-star review can sit happily on top of a technically poor installation for years, right up until the point it fails.
So read reviews for the behavioural signals, and use different checks for the technical ones. Ask what readings led to a diagnosis. Ask whether a load calculation was done before a replacement was sized. Ask who pulls the permit and whether the work gets inspected. The inspection in particular is a genuine third-party technical check that nobody has to take on trust.
